By "heart," I don’t mean something gooey and emotional. What I’m talking about is a shift in focus, a path. Once this shift takes place and we start journeying through the doorway of the heart, spiritual work truly begins, because it’s not separated from the outer; it’s not separated from our ordinary lives.
